ABDB Designs Takes Over Dial M for Modern for Three-Day Pop-Up & Exclusive Collection Showcase

On the eve of June 4th, 2018, Djivan Schapira, Founder of ABDB Designs, loaded up a Dodge Caravan at the Newark airport with all of ABDB's floor models, and hit the road towards Chicago to reunite with ABDB Co-Founder Andrew James. Starting on June 8th, Djivan and Andrew would be embarking on a run of six events across the next five days in Chicago, on their first ever national tour that will also include NYC, LA, and Miami.
The first three days were dedicated to a single location: Mid-Century Modern Vintage store Dial M for Modern in Logan Square, Chicago. Dial M for Modern owner Timothy Burkhart gave Schapira & James a section of the store's expansive basement, as well as space upstairs, to set the room as they pleased.

June 11th: Private Season 1 Showcase Collection at Soho House Chicago
June 12th: Custom Table Installation & Celebratory Event at Blind Barber Chicago
The Set-Up
ABDB Designs placed a combination of 11 end tables & cocktail tables throughout Dial M for Modern. Making the most of the unused wall space, ABDB hung three classic table tops, four custom table tops, and two tile panels as wall art. Other items available included coasters and ABDB's Inaugural 'Au Bout Du Bois' Poster from their 2017 Kickstarter campaign.
